Briganne Carter is a Feline Behaviorist, with a Degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management and a Degree in Animal Behavior. She began her career in 1992 in the TV/Film industry training animals for Universal, Disney, and Nickelodeon Studios. Feeling there was more to animal life than entertainment, she began working within education at zoological parks and animal rehabilitation centers around the U.S.
For the past 25 years, Briganne has devoted herself to the understanding of felines and has more recently worked in Hong Kong with October Pictures Studio, Apple Daily educational TV, and in London alongside vets at Blue Cross UK.
Briganne now resides in Virginia and works exclusively with troubled cats and their caregivers. Serving Lexington, Staunton, Waynesboro, Charlottesville and more.

Discovering that animal training and well-being was more than tricks and entertainment, Briganne Carter has devoted herself to bettering the relationships between cats and their human companions, to teach people how to teach their cats. By empowering cat owners, they gain the skills to manage their cat’s behavioral health and create a contented and well-balanced feline. Cats are still the most misunderstood of all companion animals. Sadly, the percentage of cats that become homeless due to misunderstood behavior is greater than any other and still growing. With more understanding, Briganne hopes to further the future well-being of cats and keep them from being left on the streets and abandoned in shelters.
